Daily routines vary a bit depending on the time of year, the days of the week and the interest and energy level of the children. Songs, movement games and aerobics or dance activities are woven in whenever appropriate or needed.
- Pick-up at the outside door - Greetings
- Morning job (puzzles, math games, math manipulatives, printing sheets etc.)
- Book time (children look at books individually or with a friend)
- Calendar with songs, counting, patterns and other activities
- Morning message with "hangman game" (The children need to fill in the blank letters on the morning message. If they make a mistake, the teacher gets a body part on the hangman... They always seem to win!)
- Language arts, science, social studies or math activity of the day (usually involving drawing, copying and/or phonetic writing)
- Snack
- Recess
- Weather permitting we extend outside playtime
- Math centers or other math activity. In math centers the children work with their group of 4 or 5 children on a specific math center each day. The groups rotate through a different center each day. Once each group had a turn at each of the centers, the activities are changed.

- Early lunch at 11:30 am. While the children eat, we read an English story.

- Center Time. This is a time for free play. While the children have free play, small groups of children may do a science or art activity.
